History of the clowders

This page is the general timeline of the clowders altogether. If you want to see the specific history of each clowder, click on these buttons to view them:

The timeline of the clowders is based around their beginning with year 0 being the year Oma founded Deepwoods. We will only be stating extremely important events that affected the clowders as a whole on this page.

0-100

  • Oma founds Deepwoods. (0)

  • Oma disappears. (0)

  • Nina takes over as the first primary of Deepwoods. (0)

  • Nina dies. (43)

101-200

  • A new territory is discovered outside of Deepwoods dubbed "The Dullpines." (108)

  • Oma's grave is found. (108)

  • The minions of Enkel begin picking off Deepwoods cats by placing curses on them. In order to counter this issue, the tradition to give children a public name and a true name is made. (123)

  • The first noble family, the Frost Bloods, is officially named. (124)

201-300

  • Dullpines is founded! (210)

  • Dullpines and Deepwoods go to war. (210)

  • The Spirits are created (211)

  • A treaty for peace between Dullpines and Deepwoods is created (218)

  • The first Summer Festival is held. (218)

401-500

  • A strange new disease dubbed Oma's Bane sweeps through Deepwoods, killing thousands. Drastic measures are taken to preserve the population of Deepwoods. (456)

  • A small group blesses the territory to the south of Deepwoods, naming themselves the Green Forest clowder. (458)

  • Oma's Bane spreads to Dullpines. (458)

  • Eventually, Oma's Bane goes away, leaving both Dullpines and Deepwoods devastated. (463)

  • The Sages are created. (464)

  • The first cases of Mist Craze spread throughout Dullpines. Several cats flee the territory. (465)

501-600

  • A new group of cats begins to live around the lake. (585)

  • Dullpines, Deepwoods, and Green Forest begin the No Strangers initiative in order to eliminate the rogues around the lake. (586)

  • Blue Lake is recognized as a clowder when the rogue leader, Anthony, summons a mantaray. (589)

  • Crabbers are created. (589)

  • Blue Lake attends its festival and introduces the use of anta berries. (589)

  • War breaks out between Blue Lake and Green Forest. (593)

  • Peace is restored when Blue Lake agrees to keep to the lake for its territory. (593)

601-700

  • Green Forest gains a new ruler who scraps the two primary system for a monarchy. (634)

  • Green Forest begins taking over other clowder territories. (634)

  • After having many of its cats massacred, Blue Lake retreats to the island in the middle of the lake refuses contact with any outside force. (635)

  • Large chunks of Deepwoods and Dullpines are conquered by Green Forest. (635)

  • A portal to Bosonhiel opens in Green Forest territory. Hundreds are killed. (639)

  • The portal is closed and Green Forest restores the traditional clowder system of leadership. (645)

  • The Paladins are created. (645)

  • Blue Lake returns from isolation after coaxing from the other clowders. (694)

701-800

  • The first lake light is spotted on the surface of the lake. (700)

  • A massive wave of Mist Craze hits Dullpines, severely crippling it. (703)

  • Dullpines reaches out to the other clowders for assistance in dealing with Mist Craze (704)

  • Dullpines manages to contain and eradicate Mist Craze after losing almost half of its population. (706)

  • Deepwoods invades Dullpines (724)

  • Dullpines declares war on Deepwoods (724)

  • Blue Lake declares war on Deepwoods. (724)

  • Green Forest declares war on Deepwoods. (725)

  • Deepwoods proposes a peace treaty and vows to leave Dullpines territory. (725)

  • Deepwoods' economy crashes. (725).

  • Through a series of programs and careful management, Deepwoods is able to recover. (768)

901-1000

  • Big-Storm-Coming along with his partner primary Dripping-Honey come into power over Dullpines. (971)

  • Storm renames Dullpines to Storm Forest. (972)

  • Storm moves the heart community. (972)

  • A group of rebels lead by a cat named Red-Fish separates from Storm Forest and settles in between Deepwoods and Storm Forest. They call themselves Redblood. (984)

  • Green Forest declares war on Blue Lake due to rising tensions. (986)

  • Blue Lake is nearly eradicated by Green Forest and retreats to their island home.(986)

  • One of the primaries of Green Forest, Jaybird's-Song, is forcibly driven away from Green Forest. The other primary peacefully steps down from their positions, leaving the clowder to Mouse-With-Big-Ears and Milky-White-Eyes. (988)

  • Big-Storm-Coming, Dripping-Honey, and a majority of the Storm Forest's council die in a mysterious fire. (989)

  • Without heirs, Storm Forest is thrown into anarchy until Rapids and Spots-Of-Sunlight take up the title of primary until proper primaries can be trained. (989)

  • Rapids moves the Storm Forest heart community back to its original location and renames the clowder to Dullpines once more. (990)

  • Blue Lake returns from its isolation. (991)

1001-1100

  • Red-Fish dies mysteriously. (1001)

  • The Adventurers Guild is created. (1002)

  • Blue Lake declares support for the Redblood clowder. (1008)
