Killing off your cat
Perhaps it's their time. Perhaps it's to further a plot of some kind. Perhaps you simply fell out of love with a character, and just don't see yourself using them in the future. Whatever the case may be, you're considering (or have already made the decision that you are) killing off your cat. There's nothing wrong with doing this, in fact, it might even be a good thing. Whatever the case, the process of killing a player cat is very simple in Vagrant Stars.
Note: we are ready and willing to allow you to kill your cat, and for no reason should we deny anyone that ability. It is considered rude to kill a character without consulting those who may be friends or relatives of the character. It is up to you to keep track of your families and warn them if you are considering killing off a character whose death may personally affect their characters.
To kill off a character, fill out the below form and send it in a note to the group. It will be processed, and you will be notified when your character has been killed off and your character slot has opened up. The title of the note can be whatever you wish it to be so long as it is clearly communicated the intent. Please note that a character must be two months old in real-time (I.E. the cat's application must have existed in the group for two calendar months) in order to be killed off.
