Creating A Noble
There are two ways that members may gain noble characters. The first way is to simply adopt a character in a preexisting noble family. The second is to raise your character to nobility by buying their status with stobs. This is the method we shall go over today.
What Are Nobles?
Nobles are cats who belong to extremely wealthy families. While some nobles do work, many choose to become soft paws and ride on their family's wealth. Those who do work are often the heads of their family and will usually hold a very high position in their work, bringing in a large income.
Family Names
Every noble family has a family name. Names vary in theme, though many tend to reference the origins of the family. Others tend to have a more natural theme. Here are a few examples of real noble families in VS:

Noble family names can be just about anything with exception to inappropriate things and made up words.
Family Shibboleth
A family shibboleth is the motto or phrase that the family uses to distinguish themselves. It's usually .'catchphrase' of sorts that they will use as a rallying cry or a greeting to other nobles.

Examples of a shibboleth
"As old as oaks." - The Frost Bloods
"Beware the spiders." - The Nightshades
"A fish divided feeds hundreds." - The Sailworthys.
Noble Tattoos
The family tattoo is extremely important to every single noble. A noble's tattoo is what marks them as being apart of their family. If a noble is disowned by their family, their tattoo will be scratched out. Noble tattoos, unlike regular tattoos, will glow their soul color if the noble wills it. This is said to be Oma's approval of them.

When designing a noble tattoo, it is important that you create a design that is not generic. Once a noble tattoo is created, no cat outside of the family will be able to have that design as a tattoo. So things like random flowers, birds, fish, leaves, etc. are not allowed as tattoos and will be denied. However, if you are creative enough with a design, we will allow it.

There are also two different types of tattoos that you may make for your noble family: Base and Copy/Paste tattoos.
Base tattoos are tattoos that have one base design that can have things added onto it. The Nightshade tattoo is a good example of this. Take a look at these two designs from real members of the Nightshade family. As you can see, both have the base flower design, but have different things around it.

Copy/Paste designs are as they sound, they're designs that must be copied perfectly from noble to noble. There may be no changes to the design itself.

It is up to you to decide which one you want for your noble family.
Registering Your Family
In order for a cat to become noble, they must register with the council of their clowder and pay 5000 stobs to become an official noble family. They must also have at least one other cat owned by a player in their bloodline to become noble with them.

Check back in frequently. If there is anything wrong, a mod will PM you. If you're good to go, a thumbs up will appear under your message and the stobs will be removed from that cat's balance. Enjoy your new noble family!
