Basic Light

While many light spells have been forgotten to time, this branch of elemental magic seems to have survived the most due to being used frequently by all cats.

Create Light

Incantation: Denwe

Spell Description: Your cat will create a small ball of bright, white light when this spell is cast. While this spell can be cast with an incantation alone, it can be made to last longer using different components. A basic Create Light spell will last around 10-20 minutes before needing to be renewed. Adding crushed up glow bugs will make the spell last a few hours. Most cats use small sticks while casting their spell, as these can make it last for a month or two before needing to be renewed.

Spell Requirements: Knowing the Incantation, (optional) Glowbugs or Sticks

Create Multiple Lights

Incantation: Denwe, veelee

Spell Description: This spell allows your cat to create multiple small balls of light that can be placed around to create lighting in an area. It lasts 10-20 minutes when cast with the incantation alone, but can be made to last longer using the same methods as the basic Create Light spell.

Spell Requirements: Know Create Light, Know the Incantation, (Optional) Glowbugs or Sticks

Focus Light

Incantation: Denwe, drub washe

Spell Description: This spell allows your cat to create a beam of light that they can shine down onto an area like a spotlight. The spell lasts for as long as the cat is concentrating.
